오늘날 건축가가 직면하는 문제는 복합적이며, 우리는 건축분야에 한정하지 않고 다양한 분야로의 확장과 통합을 표방하며 문제해결을 위해 때로는 리더로 때로는 조력자로 존재한다. 인테리어 프로젝트에서 도시설계 프로젝트에 이르는 다양한 규모의 프로젝트에서 전체와 부분을 오가는 정량적이고 정성적인 스케일의 변화는 우리의 관심과 역할을 보여주며 다양한 전문가 집단과 협력함으로써 우리는 개별 프로젝트의 업무범위를 넘어서서 예술문화적 통합성과 통일성을 추구한다.
The problem that architects are facing today is complicated and we are not limited to architecture only but pursue the expansion to various areas and integration and we exist sometimes as a leader or a coordinator for problem solving. For various scaled projects from interior project to urban design project, the change of quantitative and qualitative scale between the whole and the part shows our interest and role and we pursue art and cultural integration and unity over the business scope of individual project through cooperation with various professional groups.
Kim, Se-kyung
김세경은 동아대학교와 한양대학교 건축대학원을 졸업하고 건축사무소건축문화와 희림종합건축사사무소에서 실무를 쌓았다. 2016년 MMKM 디자인브랜드를 시작으로 2020년 MMKM associates를 설립하였고, 2025년 10여년의 성수동 생활을 마감하고 문정동에서 MMKM 건축사사무소를 다시 개소하였다. 대표 설계작업으로는 조리읍행정복지센터(2019), 월계도서관리모델링(2022), 성남역사박물관(2022) 등이 있고, 동아대학교와 연세대학교에 출강하고 있다.
Kim, Se-kyung graduated from DAU and HGSA and experienced practical work in KCMH and Heerim Architects. Starting with MMKM design brand in 2016, MMKM Associates was established in 2020, and after 10 years of Seongsu-dong, MMKM Architects was re-opened in Munjeong-dong in 2025. Representative design works include the Jori-eup Administrative Welfare Center (2019), Wolgye Library Remodeling (2022), and Seongnam History Museum (2022), and are teaching at Dong-A University and Yonsei University.
